Egg Media is a Kalamazoo-based audio and visual media production company founded by Derek Menchinger & Leslie Boughton in 2003, creating original music for dance, theatre, film, and commercial use. From compelling music scoring to evocative design, we produce, compose, organize, and deliver the assets you need every step of the way. As a 19-year veteran of the recording, music and broadcast industries, Derek has extensive experience in multiple facets of audio engineering and sound design. He has shown a flair for delicate, atmospheric touches, both as a producer, engineer , songwriter and session player for a range of musical artists. With Egg Media, he hopes to bring his unique talents to new clients as well. Derek Menchinger is the founding member of Blue Dahlia, playing guitar in the band since its inception in1995.
